Farrukhabad Tragedy: Two Boys Arrested in Case of Two Friends’ Deaths | ABP News
In a tragic incident in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, the police have arrested two boys, Deepak and Pawan, in connection with the deaths of two teenage girls. The boys were in relationships with both victims. According to the police, the boys were also involved with other girls, which led to the victims feeling deeply distressed and subsequently taking their own lives. The police have charged Deepak and Pawan with inciting suicide and are currently questioning them. They are set to be presented in court today, Friday. Investigations revealed that the girls had been using their uncle's phone to communicate with the boys, deleting all details afterward. The two girls were found hanging from a mango tree in the Kaimganj area of Farrukhabad on Tuesday morning, using the same dupatta. The discovery caused a stir in the locality. Initially, the police deemed the case a suicide, but the families suspected foul play, noting injuries on the bodies. However, a subsequent video showed the family retracting their murder claims. The girls had gone to a village fair for Janmashtami and did not return. Their families searched extensively but to no avail. On Tuesday morning, women from the village found them hanging and informed the authorities. The police recovered a mobile phone and a SIM card from the scene, which was registered in Deepak's name. The final rites have been performed, and the post-mortem report confirmed death by hanging.
