Farmers gather in Karnal, Yogendra Yadav, and farmer leaders to hold talks | Ground Report

Farmer unions announced they would sit in front of the mini secretariat in Karnal until the government agrees to take action against the cops involved in the August 28 lathicharge. As farmers marched on to the secretariat, police briefly detained some protesters and used the water cannon to push them back. Now, as per the current reports, farmers have brought their necessary items to sit for an indefinite period if demands are not fulfilled.
