EVM Row: Andhra Minister Kandula Durgesh schools Jagan Reddy, reminds him of 2019 poll results

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), June 19 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh slammed Andhra’s former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on his statement regarding EVMs on June 18. He said that this is the biggest joke of the decade because when he got elected in 2019 with a thumping majority of 151 seats, he said that it is a great victory. Further, he added that now since he has been defeated, he says we need to have discussions regarding the EVMs. While speaking to ANI, Kandula Durgesh said, "This is the biggest joke of the decade because when he got elected in 2019 with a thumping majority of 151 seats, he said that it is a great victory and EVMs are working very well. Now since he has been defeated, he says we need to have discussions regarding the EVMs..." Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, asserted on June 18 that in "upholding the true spirit of our democracy," ballot papers must be used in place of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
