Earthquake in national capital, Epicenter in East Delhi

Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and nearby areas on Sunday. The tremors had a magnitude of 3.4 on the richter scale and its epicentre was 6.5 km below the surface in East Delhi. The eastern Delhi shares a border with Ghaziabad and Noida and hence the tremors were felt in these areas too. An earthquake amid lockdown raises questions such as whether one should run out in open space or stay at home and practice social distancing.
