Doda Encounter Update: In response to the terrorist attack in Doda, Jammu, the Indian government is adopting a stringent approach. On Tuesday (16 July 2024), Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had a phone conversation with Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, during which he directed a firm response to terrorist activities.

Reports indicate that Rajnath Singh urged General Dwivedi to ensure that no leniency is shown towards terrorists and their organizations.
