Display of Artillery Equipment by Army in J&K’s Akhnoor, effort to increase security awareness

Akhnoor (J&K), July 30 (ANI): The Indian Army recently hosted a captivating artillery display at Malpur village in Jammu, aimed at fostering a sense of patriotism and security awareness among local youth. The event attracted a significant number of children, who eagerly attended to engage with the various artillery weapons and equipment on show. During the display, children had the chance to explore a range of military hardware, including artillery guns and other equipment. Army personnel took the opportunity to educate the young attendees about the different types of weapons, their functionalities, and the role they play in national defense. The interaction allowed the children to ask questions and gain firsthand knowledge from the experts. The enthusiasm of the children was palpable as they observed the demonstrations and learned about the capabilities of the artillery. The event was not only educational but also aimed at instilling a sense of respect for the armed forces and enhancing their understanding of the security challenges faced by the country. Such programs play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the military and civilian population, nurturing a well-informed and patriotic young generation.
