Jaunpur's Additional Sessions Court on Tuesday convicted two accused, including powerful former MP and Janata Dal-United (JDU) national general secretary Dhananjay Singh, in the case of kidnapping and extortion. The court will pronounce the sentence on Wednesday. After being declared guilty by the court, he has been sent to judicial custody.
