Despite issuing death warrant, no death penalty for Nirbhaya convicts on 22 Jan

It is now clear that the sentence of death penalty will not be commuted to the convicts of Nirbhaya case, despite the death warrants being issued by the Patiala House Court. Even the judge at the Patiala House Court admitted that under the prison rule book, all the legal remedies have to be exercised and only then can the sentence be commuted.
