Delhi Water Crisis: Locals Climb On Tankers To Secure Water Amid Shortage In Capital | ABP news
The residents of the national capital have been grappling with a water crisis for over a week now, with no relief in sight in the coming days. Amid scorching heat and searing heatwaves, Delhi residents are heavily reliant on water tankers to meet their daily needs.
The AAP blames neighbouring states Haryana and Himachal Pradesh for "deliberately halting" Delhi's water supply. Congress alleges that despite Himachal Pradesh releasing 133 cusecs of water, it did not reach the capital. The party has demanded an investigation into this matter and into the activities of the tanker mafia. Amid the political strife, locals are hustling to get water for day-to-day activities.
