A Delhi Court on Friday sent suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Tahir Hussain to seven days police custody in connection with the recent violence in Delhi's northeast area and killing of an Intelligence Bureau (IB) staffer.
He was produced at the residence of Metropolitan Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Rampuri, a day after his arrest. During the course of proceedings, the police sought his custody, which was allowed by the judge. Meanwhile, Police traced Tahir's phone and have reportedly found new evidences of Delhi riots.
