Due to the continuous rain in Delhi, many residential areas have become waterlogged, making it difficult for people to step out. Areas such as Raisina and Firoz Shah Road, from Aurobindo Road to IIT Flyover in South Delhi, near Bhikaji Cama Place Metro Station, and regions around AIIMS and Safdarjung are severely affected, forcing people to wade through water. Additionally, heavy traffic jams were observed around Sarita Vihar due to waterlogging.
In the Moolchand area of Delhi, a truck was seen half-submerged under an underpass. Commuters exiting the Saket Metro Station faced inconvenience as the surrounding area was flooded due to continuous heavy rain. A significant traffic jam was also reported on NH 9 in Delhi. Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory, advising people to avoid traveling in several affected areas.
