Curfew imposed in 4 areas of Northeast Delhi

A curfew has been imposed in the Maujpur, Jafrabad, Chandbagh, and Karawal Nagar areas of the national capital as violence over CAA continues to simmer northeast Delhi. 10 people including a policeman have been killed in the clashes and over 186 injured.

Additional police forces and paramilitary forces have been deployed at several spots to tackle the situation. Three districts in northeast Delhi were put on high alert on Tuesday after the tension prevailing there since the last three days intensified.
