Covid-19: Are we headed towards community transmission? ICMR's head scientist answers

India has witnessed massive jump in number of positive cases for Coronavirus Covid-19 in past 2-3 days. We asked head scientist of ICMR Dr Raman R Gangakhedkar, whether India is headed towards community transmission? Dr Gangakhedkar said, "There is no definitive answer to it. The planning has to be done in advance. Initiating a lockdown doesn't mean that community transmission has begun, it means that we are preparing for it."
