Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Wadding has sharply criticized Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu for his recent comments about Rahul Gandhi. Wadding stated that Bittu should be ashamed for his remarks, highlighting that despite being made a Member of Parliament three times by Gandhi, Bittu now calls him a "terrorist." Wadding condemned Bittu's behavior as ingratitude and betrayal, suggesting that such politics are unacceptable.

Bittu had claimed in Bihar that Rahul Gandhi, who spends much time abroad, is unpatriotic and supported by enemies of the nation. He even suggested Gandhi deserved a reward for being the "number one terrorist." This provoked further criticism from Punjab opposition leader Pratap Singh Bajwa, who suggested Bittu might need professional help.
