Congress makes him say such things: Manoj Tiwari on Udit Raj's Kumbh comment

Manoj Tiwari was talking to ABP News over the comments of Udit Raj about madrassas and Kumbh Mela. Manoj Tiwari said that Congress made him utter such sentences. He added that Kumbh mela was a 'sanskriti' and it should not be compared to madrassas.

Earlier, Udit Raj had said that the BJP government spent Rs 4200 crore on organising Kumbh mela which was a religious event and hence it should not have been done. The comment came after Assam decided to revamp madrassas into modern schools.
