Congress' Digvijaya Singh booked over tweet with fake photo of Muslims being attacked on Ram Navami
A lawsuit was filed against Digvijaya Singh on Tuesday, only hours after the senior Congress leader shared a contentious post on social media that turned out to be bogus. Sections 153 A (Promoting enmity between different groups on the basis of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language), 295A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion), 465 (forgery), and 505 (punishment on the statement which creates or promotes enmity, hatred, or ill-will between classes) of the Indian Penal Code were used to charge the former Chief Minister of MP.
