Breaking News: Rs 2.27 Crore Cash Seized from Car in Chhattisgarh's Kawardha, 3 Men Detained

In Chhattisgarh's Kawardha, police discovered over ₹2 crore in cash from a car during a routine check. Upon inspecting the vehicle, officers found bags filled with ₹500 denomination notes. As a result, a currency counting machine had to be brought to the police station to tally the massive amount. It was revealed that the three individuals in the car were transporting the cash from Madhya Pradesh to Raipur. However, they could not provide any legitimate documentation to explain the origin or purpose of the cash. Following the discovery, the police informed the Income Tax Department to investigate further. This large seizure has raised suspicions of illegal activities, as the individuals had no explanation for carrying such a significant amount of money. The authorities are now coordinating with the relevant departments to ensure that the situation is thoroughly investigated and to determine if any legal actions will be taken against the men involved.
