Breaking News: 'Rahul Gandhi Is Not Pappu...' Says Sam Pitroda | ABP News
In Texas, USA, Sam Pitroda, President of the Indian Overseas Congress, made a statement regarding Rahul Gandhi. Pitroda asserted that Rahul Gandhi is not a "Pappu" and emphasized that his agenda focuses on significant issues. He described Rahul Gandhi as a strategic thinker with profound insights, countering any negative perceptions. During his visit to the United States, Rahul Gandhi addressed a gathering in Texas and fiercely criticized the BJP government. He stated, "The RSS believes that India is an idea, but we believe that India is a plurality of ideas. We believe that everyone should be allowed to participate, dream, and be given a place, regardless of their caste, language, religion, tradition, or history." As the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi further emphasized during the event in Texas that this is a fight, and it became evident during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections when millions of Indians clearly understood that India's Prime Minister was attacking the Constitution of India. He said, "Everything I mentioned to you is enshrined in the Constitution. The foundation of modern India is the Constitution. What people clearly understood during the elections, and I saw it happening, was that when I referred to the Constitution, people understood what I was saying. They were saying that the BJP is attacking our traditions, our language, our states, our history. Most importantly, they understood that anyone attacking India's Constitution is also attacking our religious traditions." Referring to his previous speech, Rahul Gandhi mentioned that when he described the *abhayamudra* (gesture of fearlessness) in Parliament, it symbolized fearlessness, and this concept is present in every Indian religion. "When I said this, the BJP couldn't tolerate it. They don’t understand, but we are going to make them understand. Another significant development was that the fear of the BJP disappeared from people's minds. We saw that just minutes after the election results, no one in India feared the BJP or the Prime Minister anymore. These are major achievements," Rahul added.
