Breaking News: Mallikarjun Kharge's Scathing Attack On Central Government, Watch Video | ABP News

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a significant attack on the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the alliance (in reference to the INDIA bloc) no longer needs to fear. He claimed that the BJP's government is no longer fully intact, with its foundation having weakened. Despite this, representatives of the Modi government continue to assert that it is strong. Addressing an election rally in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on September 11, 2024, Kharge said, "The alliance members need not fear. Today, it's a minority government. The BJP does not have a government of its own strength; it is supported by TDP's Chandrababu Naidu with one leg and JD(U)'s Nitish Kumar with one hand. They are functioning on this support." Kharge further criticized the BJP, stating, "The BJP is rattled by the Congress-NC alliance. This has led them to repeatedly alter the list in Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP's anxiety over the unity of the INDIA bloc is evident. Despite ongoing attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi continues to lie without any shame, as he is a 'chief of liars.' However, we are truth-tellers who have advanced the country for decades through honesty." Kharge also outlined five guarantees that Congress and the National Conference (NC) will provide to the people of the UT if they come to power. He promised that families with women who are the primary earners would receive ₹3,000 per month, and women would be eligible for interest-free loans up to ₹5 lakh.
