Breaking News: High Court Demands Strict Probe in Kolkata Doctor Case, Family Seeks Court-Monitored Investigation

In a decisive move, the Calcutta High Court has taken a strict stance on the Kolkata 'Nirbhaya' case. The court has ordered the police to submit the case diary by 1 PM, emphasizing the need to understand the sentiments of the protesting doctors. The High Court acknowledged the emotional distress within the medical community, stating, "One of their colleagues has been brutally murdered." This development comes amid growing calls for a CBI probe and ongoing protests by resident doctors demanding justice for the victim, a trainee doctor at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital​

During today's hearing, the court admitted a petition from the victim's family for a court-monitored probe, citing doubts about the ongoing investigation.
