BMC action on Kangana's office intensifies demand to raze Priyanka Gandhi's bungalow in HP

In order for Priyanka to make a house, the then Himachal government relaxed the rules under section 118 of the Land Reforms Act. People living outside Himachal under this section could not buy land.

In the year 2007, the market price of this land was around one crore bighas, while Priyanka Gandhi was given 4 bighas of land for building a house for only Rs 47 lakhs.
