CBSE board exams for the class 12 have been cancelled after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the decision in a meeting on Tuesday. He said that this decision has been taken keeping the interests of the students in mind. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Modi said, "The health and safety of the students is of paramount importance and there can be no compromise on this." The Prime Minister said that in such a stressful environment, students should not be pressured to appear in the examination.
