Amidst the severe protests in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina resigned from her position as Prime Minister on Monday (August 5) and traveled to India. She is currently staying in India while awaiting diplomatic asylum from the United Kingdom. Her plane landed at Hindon Airbase in Ghaziabad in the evening, where security measures were significantly heightened. Upon her arrival, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval personally went to meet her at the airbase. Additionally, Air Marshal Pankaj Mohan Sinha of the Western Air Command and several senior officers of the Indian Army were present for the meeting with the former Bangladeshi Prime Minister.
