Bajrang Muni Das, UP Mahant who allegedly threatened Muslim women with rape, arrested

On Wednesday, Bajrang Muni Das, a seer from Uttar Pradesh, was detained for reportedly threatening Muslim women in Sitapur with rape. According to news agency ANI, Sitapur Superintendent of Police RP Singh stated that the seer will be produced in court soon. On April 2, a supposed video of the controversial seer making nasty words against Muslim women outside a mosque during a procession was extensively shared on social media. If a Hindu lady is taunted by a Muslim guy, Das has threatened to rape a woman from the latter's community. The crowd applauded as he finished his speech, although several police officers on the scene appeared to be silent bystanders, according to the footage.
