Assam: Man drowns due to heavy current of the river

Flood has wreacked havoc in most parts of Eastern and North-Eastern India, especially the Ganga-Brahmaputra plains. In an incident that took place in Baksa, Assam, a man was flown away due to heavy flow of the river and later drowned in it. The Daranga river flows in Assam from Bhutan. Assam has faced the worst of the floods with even MLAs coming out to help the needy.
