Amid Amar Jyoti row, PM Modi announces installation of statue of Netaji SC Bose at India Gate

Amid sharp criticism of the Opposition over Amar Jawan Jyoti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about the installation of a statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the India Gate. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday tweeted, "At a time when the entire nation is commemorating Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's 125th birthday, I am pleased to announce that his majestic granite statue will be placed at India Gate. This would be a representation of India's debt to him." In a series of tweets, PM Modi also shared a photograph showing a hologram statue of Netaji at the same place.
