Allahabad HC rejects petition seeking stay on Ram temple bhoomi poojan

The Allahabad High Court has rejected the petition which sought a stay over the inaugural prayer ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5, 2020. The stay was sought due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis in the country. The petition was filed by Delhi lawyer Saket Gokhale on Wednesday

The bhoomi poojan will take place on August 5 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the ceremony.
