Hundreds of passengers who had booked flight tickets with Air India Express have been left stranded since Tuesday, after the airline cancelled more than 80 flights following protests by a section of the cabin crew over alleged unprofessional conduct by the airline. PTI has learnt that more than 200 cabin crew are believed to have reported sick to protest against the alleged mismanagement at the airline. Some industry experts say, the development is a teething problem related to the merger of Air India Express and AIX Connect, formally known as Air Asia.
