After Cloudburst In Rampur, Only Debris Remains; 36 People Missing From Village | ABP News
Heavy rains that began late Thursday night in Himachal Pradesh have caused widespread devastation. There were reports of cloudbursts in three separate regions of the state: Mandi, Kullu, and Rampur in Shimla district. Over 50 people have been affected by these incidents. In the cloudbursts in Kullu, Mandi, and Rampur, 49 individuals are reported missing, four have died, and one is injured. Families are in distress, waiting anxiously for news of their loved ones. Due to the swift flow of water, nine people trapped near the Beas River were rescued by NDRF and fire brigade teams. The calamity has damaged four bridges, two pedestrian bridges, 20 homes, and six shops. Five roads and one national highway are blocked. As time passes, the chances of finding the missing individuals alive are diminishing, leaving families in deep sorrow.
