In Delhi, the primary contest is between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which won all seven seats in the 2014 and 2019 elections, and the AAP-Congress alliance. The AAP and Congress alliance divided the seats, with AAP contesting four and Congress three. Here are the findings from the ABP News-C Voter Survey for the key seats in Delhi. The Union Territory of Delhi participated in the Sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections on May 25, 2024. During this phase, voters from Delhi and seven other states and union territories cast their ballots to elect representatives for 59 seats in total. Delhi, which has seven Lok Sabha seats, held its election in a single phase. Out of the 889 candidates contesting in the sixth phase across all regions, 162 were Delhi. The Election Commission of India (ECI) received 367 nomination forms from Delhi and after scrutiny and withdrawals, 162 candidates remained in the fray. The battle in Delhi is primarily between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which secured all seven seats in the 2014 and 2019 elections, and an alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress. The AAP and Congress alliance split the seats with AAP contesting four and Congress three. Key contests in Delhi include seats in North East Delhi where BJP's two-time MP Manoj Tiwari faced former student leader Kanhaiya Kumar from Congress. Tiwari, a former Bhojpuri singer-turned-politician, was the only BJP candidate re-nominated, seeking a third term.
