'I'm the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba,' The Reserve Bank of India Receives Threatening Call | ABP News

The Reserve Bank of India received a threatening call on its customer care number. The caller claimed to be the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The call came in on Saturday morning around 10 AM, and the person on the phone said, "I am the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba" before abruptly hanging up, adding, "Close the back route. The electric car is broken." Taking the matter seriously, the RBI security guard filed a complaint, and a case was registered at the Mata Rambai Marg police station. However, the police suspect this might have been a prank. An investigation has been initiated. Earlier, on Thursday (November 14), a bomb threat email was sent to Mumbai's JSA Law Firm, Belard Pair, and JSA Office at Kamala Mills Lower Pearl. The email, which appeared to be from someone named Farzan Ahmed, claimed that bombs had been placed at both the JFA firm's office and the Ballard Estate office. Following this, the police promptly launched an investigation. In the past two to three months, bomb threats have been increasing across various locations, including schools, hotels, airports, markets, trains, and buses. On October 27, a CISF officer at Mumbai Airport received a threat warning that if a plane took off, no one would survive. The investigation later revealed that this threat was a hoax.
