Breaking News: DRDO Successfully Tests Long-Range Hypersonic Missile | ABP News

India continues to make significant progress in the field of defense. On November 16, 2024, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully tested its long-range hypersonic missile from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO, the armed forces, and the industry for the successful flight test of the country’s first long-range hypersonic mission. On this occasion, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh shared his congratulations on social media platform X. He stated that India has achieved a major milestone by successfully testing the long-range hypersonic missile from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha. He called it a historic moment and added that this achievement places India alongside countries that possess such critical and advanced military technology.
