30 seers test positive for coronavirus at Kumbh mela in Haridwar
Adding to the growing numbers, 30 seers at the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar have tested Covid positive.
The Kumbh Mela congregation has raised worries amid the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic in the country. According to officials, in just 48 hours, over 1,000 people were found to be Covid positive in Haridwar where around 35 lakh people gathered for the Kumbh Mela and 'Shahi Snaan', a majority of devotees are seen flouting the Coronavirus norms such as maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.
