18th Lok Sabha First Session: Here Are The Top 18 Key Points In Relation To 18th Lok Sabha | ABP News

The first session of the eighteenth Lok Sabha is starting from Monday (June 24, 2024). Newly elected MPs will be administered oath in this session. After this, the election of the Lok Sabha Speaker will be held on June 26 and on June 27, President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint meeting of both the houses i.e. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. At the same time, the opposition alliance 'India' has decided on a strategy to corner the government on various issues in the Parliament session.  News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that Lok Sabha MPs of the opposition alliance 'India' will march together towards the House after gathering in the Parliament complex on Monday. Speaking to PTI, a senior leader associated with the opposition alliance 'India' said that the MPs will gather near Gate No. 2 of the old Parliament House, where the Gandhi statue once stood. Some MPs will carry copies of the Constitution during this period. Recently, the Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex was shifted along with 14 other statues present in the complex, all of them have been installed at one place, Prerna Sthal.
