GTB Hospital Firing: AAP questions Delhi Police over firing incident in Delhi hospital | ABP News
A 32-year-old man was shot dead by a teenager inside a ward at the Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital in Delhi on Sunday. The victim, identified as Riyazuddin, had been admitted to the hospital on 23 June and was receiving treatment for an abdominal infection, according to police.
The shooting occurred in Ward Number 24 of the hospital, with only one shooter involved, authorities stated, as per news agency PTI. "The PCR call regarding the incident in Ward No. 24 was received at the GTB Enclave police station," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara), Surendra Choudhary, as quoted by PTI. Upon arrival, police found Riyazuddin injured, and he was later declared dead by doctors.
