Gen Bipin Rawat set to take over as India’s first CDS tomorrow | ABP Special
With the onset of the New Year 2020, the first Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat will officially take charge and will have his office in South Block in New Delhi. On Monday, he was appointed India's first CDS. Gen Bipin Rawat, with a distinguished career behind him, bade farewell to the post of the Army Chief on Tuesday, after a three-year tenure. He is succeeded by General Manoj Mukund Naravane.
