Elections 2024: Know the reason behind Hathras villages boycotting polls by doing protest | ABP News

Villagers of Dattagawas and Lal Garhi in Hathras Lok Sabha constituency of Uttar Pradesh boycotted polls on Tuesday, in protest against the shifting of their polling booth from Dattagawas to an adjacent village, Garhi Naukas about 3 kilometres away. Villagers say, they had been voting in Dattagawas since independence, and the change in location of their polling booth was totally uncalled for. In protest, residents of the two villages raised slogans and refused to cast their vote.
