Elections 2024: 5% dip from 2019 Loksabha polls, 61.2% Voter Turnout Recorded in sixth phase
A voter turnout of 61.2 per cent was recorded provisionally on Saturday in 58 constituencies across six states and two Union territories during the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
The ECI reported that over 11.13 crore voters, comprising 5.84 crore males, 5.29 crore females, and 5,120 third-gender individuals, were eligible to vote in this phase. Approximately 11.4 lakh polling officials had been deployed across 1.14 lakh polling stations.
Till 11.45pm, 61.2% voter turnout was recorded. The highest voter turnout in Phase 6 was recorded in Odisha with 79.47% and the lowest turnout was reported from Uttar Pradesh at 54.03%. Watch the video and stay connected for more updates on ABP LIVE.
