Budget 2020: Govt proposes allocation of Rs 4,400 crore for clean air
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while presenting the budget also focused on the importance of clean environment. She added that old thermal power plants where coal is still used, will be closed. Providing clean air is also the main motive of the government. She alloted Rs 4400 Crore for clean air, and said that Rs 22,000 crore will be provided to power renewable energy sector in 2020-21.
