Ambulance owner arrested for charging over Rs 1 lakh from Covid-19 patient for travelling from Gurugram to Ludhiana
An ambulance owner has been arrested for charging more than one lakh rupees for taking a Covid-19 patient for travelling from Gurugram to Ludhiana. The patient's family told reporters in Ludhiana that they contacted an ambulance driver from Delhi as they could not get ambulance service in their city. Rs 1.40 lakh was demanded for the ambulance.
