8 COVID patients die due to oxygen shortage in Batra Hospital

"6 COVID patients died in ICU ward & 2 in main ward (due to oxygen shortage) today. We could not save them even after making effort from our end. Since this wave hit the country, we've been demanding oxygen from the govt," Dr SCL Gupta, Medical Director of Delhi's Batra Hospital, said in a statement. 

"Water has gone above the head. Now we mean business. You (Centre) will arrange everything now, " the court said. The Delhi High Court has listed the matter for further hearing on Monday.
