Most of the iron rods being sold in the market for construction purpose are of poor quality, says a report. Also, out of 26, iron rods of 18 brands failed in the lab test. After this billions of investment in infrastructure can come to a halt as it is highly dangerous. It has been found in the report that to lessen the expenses, companies played with the amount of Phosphorous and Sulphur in the construction material.
