Master Stroke: Chennai: Ambulance carrying Karunanidhi's mortal remains leaves Kauvery Hospital

M Karunanidhi, DMK chief and former Tamil Nadu chief minister, died on Tuesday evening after a prolonged illness, the Kauveri Hospital, where he was admitted, said. "With deep anguish, we announce the demise of our beloved Kalaignar M Karunanidhi at 6.10 pm on August 7, the hospital said. Karunanidhi was admitted to the Kauveri Hospital hospital on July 28 following a dip in his blood pressure and he was under treatment in the Intensive Care Unit ever since.
