Manohar Lal Khattar appointed leader of the BJP Legislature Party
ncumbent Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday has been elected as the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislature Party and now he meet the Governor to stake claim to form the government.
Party sources said that after the oath-taking ceremony, a new Cabinet is expected after Diwali -- on Sunday. After the election of the Legislature Party leader in Chandigarh, the party will stake claim for the formation of the next government in alliance with the less than 12-month old Jannayak Janata Party (JJP)-led by Dushyant Chautala.
