LeT commander Bashir Lashkari, who carried Rs 10 lakh bounty, killed in J&K encounter
Srinagar: In a significant development, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Bashir Lashkari and his aide were killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday. The encounter also claimed lives of two civilians. Latest reports said at least 17 civilians were rescued. The Jammu and Kashmir police had announced a bounty of Rs 10 lakh for Bashir Lashkari for leading an attack earlier this month which led to killing of seven policemen.
