Jammu and Kashmir: Situation Peaceful, Over 190 Schools Reopened

Over 190 primary schools in Srinagar will re-open today, besides the government offices to be restored with "full functionality" across Kashmir valley on Monday, the J&K administration said. The J&K authorities also made 10 more telephone exchanges operational in the Valley on Sunday. However, it again snapped the services of one of the 17 centres restored on Saturday after reports that landline phones were being used for spreading misinformation campaign, the officials said.
