Hizbul Mujaheddin Chief Sayeed Salahudeen had called  Burhan Wani an inspiration for Kashmiri youth after his death in 2016. 
Days after Bharatiya Janta Party pulled out of Jammu and Kashmir government, by withdrawing its support to PDP, leading to implementation of governor rule in the state, former Chief Minister threatened its former ally and dared it to not indulge in ‘horse trading’.

This comes at the time when several PDP leaders are reportedly breaking out of the party and are ‘joining BJP’.
