Food department seizes tons of adulterated sweets around the country on Diwali| Mathrubhumi
Food department officials has seized and destroyed 5 tons of adulterated Paneer and sweets at a factory in Greater Noida.
Similar kinds of raid were carried out in other cities as well and tons of raw materials, used for making sweets were seized.
A godown storing dry fruits was sealed for keeping almonds and pistachios that were found unfit for use, officials said.
Indore District Administration along with the Food Department conducted a raid at the godown on Thursday. The said company was also fined for Rs 15,000
