Fani Cyclone: Heavy rainfall begins in Andhra Pradesh
In wake of the extreme cyclonic storm Fani which is likely to strike the coastal regions of Odisha, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh on Friday; the East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Thursday cancelled as many 103 trains as a precautionary measure for the passengers travelling by rail.
Railway officials said that the number is likely to increase as other zones may cancel trains to Odisha. The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run two special trains from Puri to Shalimar on Thursday for tourists in view of the landfall of cyclonic storm Fani on the Odisha coast.
