Season 2 of Panchayat picks off where the first season left off. While most things in Phulera village remain the same, such as the Pradhan giving Abhishek laukis and sitting around over a pint of beer under the stars, certain things have changed. Unlike the first season, when Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) was too afraid to leave her ghoonghat, she is now eager to do so. However, Brij Bhushan AKA Pradhan Pati (Raghuveer Yadav) is still apprehensive about involving her in panchayati activities.
